Description
Strong, yet lightweight, SNUG360 underarm walking crutches are durable and stable. Thick cushioned underarm pads and hand grips provide maximum comfort. Easy push-button adjustment allows the height of the marble legs to be easily adjusted in 1″ increments. You can easily adjust the hand grips separately without any tools to ensure a proper fit & adjustment.
Our underarm walking crutches are lighter than wood and made of high-quality stainless steel, supporting up to 250 lbs.
Do’s & Don’ts
- Do not lean on your armpits for support. Utilize the handholds as support.
- Place the crutches a few inches in front of you while standing.
- Do not attempt to walk too quickly or cover a great distance with a single stride. Maintain the crutches near the body.
- While using walking crutches on stairs, obtain assistance from another person.
- While ascending or descending stairs, set the crutches on the next lower step and then step down with the healthy leg.
- If you are using a single crutch, position it under the arm of the opposing leg. Move the crutch and the weaker leg simultaneously forward, followed by a step with the stronger leg.
- Cushioned covers or pads can be purchased for the underarm and hand grips of crutches if the hardness of the grips makes them uncomfortable.
